Living Opportunities helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to work for the same employers and have the same experiences everyone aspires to in our community.  By partnering with local businesses of all sizes and in all sectors of our local economy, we are providing a more inclusive, diverse workforce in the Rogue Valley.

On the job training, mentoring and ongoing evaluation and assessment ensure success for both the employer and the employee.  Living Opportunities currently partners with over 80 businesses throughout the Rogue Valley, providing jobs to nearly 110 community members with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

How Individuals with Disabilities Benefit from Work

Community members challenged by intellectual and developmental disabilities bring unique gifts and talents to over 80 participating workplaces throughout the Rogue Valley.

 

By developing skills necessary for success in the workplace and utilizing our thorough job training and evaluation programs, our clients thrive in work environments matched specifically to their individual skills.

 

Clients who utilize the supported employment services of Living Opportunities have a unique opportunity to align their passions, skills and talents with earning an income. Earning an income can:

  • provide a vital sense of purpose
  • foster greater independence
  • boost self esteem
