Living Opportunities’ Studio Sfumato, in conjunction with the Children’s Advocacy Center, helped put on “Just Outside the Door,” an art show featuring the works of 13 girls chosen to participate in the five-week art course taught by the Studio’s Art Director, Dan Mish. Tonight, all 13 girls prepared for their debut as artists, getting dressed up in donated dresses, new shoes, with manicures and styled hair. They talked to the guests at the art show about their works, what they’ve learned, and how they have grown through their art.
We are proud to have been a part of this wonderful event, to work alongside CAC to help bring about a positive change to these 13 young women who have experienced so many hardships in their lives. Thank you to everyone who attended and who shared this special night with us and our blossoming artists.
